Now, with Shamsher Singh Rataul serving as BJP’s constituency in-charge, the spotlight shifts to intent versus readiness. As BJP claims it will contest all seats in Punjab, a blunt question follows. Is Dharamkot finally on the party’s map or is this still a seat where organisation exists on paper but not on the ballot ? ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ’ਤੇ ਹੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ। ਹੁਣ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਟੌਲ ਦੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਬਣਨ ਨਾਲ, ਨੀਅਤ ਤੇ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਹੁਣ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਸਿਰਫ ਕਾਗਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਤ ਹੈ ? ਤੇ ਜੇ 2027 ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਕਸੌਟੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ?
