Sheetal Angural’s political journey has come full circle, from BJP to AAP, winning Jalandhar West in 2022, then quitting AAP to rejoin BJP in 2024, only to lose the 2024 bypoll badly. His resignation was accepted under the anti-defection law, his attempt to withdraw it was rejected, and the seat slipped away to another turncoat, Mohinder Bhagat, who switched from BJP to AAP. In a constituency shaken by party-hopping and personal rivalries, Angural’s switch became the centre of the contest rather than governance. ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ “ਬਦਲਾਅ ਰੈਲੀ” ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਤਮਕ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਜੁੜੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਐਮ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਦੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਪੁਨਰਜਾਗਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਰੈਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਦੌਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਣ ਪਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਰੈਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਚ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ?
