Congress lost over 20% vote share compared to the previous election, while AAP surged past 57%, leaving Congress completely out of the contest. So the real question is this, was this defeat a verdict on Pritam Singh Kotbhai’s personal limitations despite incumbency experience or does it expose a deeper collapse of Congress’s grassroots network in rural Punjab ?
