ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਸਮਰਾਲਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਣਿਆ-ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ। ਚਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਟ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ, ਪਰ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਏ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮੋੜ ਆਇਆ। ਹੁਣ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ 2027 ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਸਮਰਾਲਾ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਂ ਪੋਤੇ ਕਰਨਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਦੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ?
