Partap Singh Bajwa has remained a senior and vocal leader in Punjab Congress and has increasingly portrayed himself as a Chief Ministerial contender. Has Bajwa clearly communicated his CM ambitions to the Congress high command or is he relying on public positioning to make his case ? ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਬਾਕ ਆਗੂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਾਅਵੇਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਦਰਸਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਅਸਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੰਕੇਤਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ? ਸਿੱਧੂ–ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਦਰਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਦਾਅਵੇਦਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਕਈ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਸਪਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਭੀੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਅਵੇਦਾਰੀ ਸੋਚ-ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਭਰਮ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
