This leads to a direct question: Is BJP turning to faith-based outreach in Punjab because it still lacks trusted leaders, workers, and a solid local base of its own ?

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ, ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਬੈਠਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਮਾਰ ਇਕ ਸਾਫ਼ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਵੋਟ ਅਧਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਜਮੀਨੀ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵੀ ਰਾਇ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਪਣਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਮੰਦ ਆਗੂ, ਵਰਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਅਧਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ?
