Navjot Singh Sidhu wants to be CM, but only if he gets “full power.” And Sunil Jakhar left long ago because he also wanted to be CM. Meanwhile, Congress as a party is shrinking faster than its list of CM candidates is growing. Has Punjab Congress become the only party where the CM race is bigger than the party itself ?
पंजाब कांग्रेस में मुख्यमंत्री बनने का सपना पार्टी से भी बड़ा हो चुका है। प्रताप सिंह बाजवा मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहते हैं। चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहते हैं। राजा वड़िंग मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहते हैं। नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहते हैं लेकिन तभी, जब उन्हें “पूरी ताकत” मिले और सुनील जाखड़ तो पहले ही पार्टी छोड़ चुके हैं क्योंकि उनका सपना भी मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी था। उधर कांग्रेस पार्टी जितनी तेज़ी से सिकुड़ रही है, उसके मुख्यमंत्री उम्मीदवारों की सूची उतनी ही तेज़ी से बढ़ रही है। तो क्या पंजाब कांग्रेस अब ऐसी पार्टी बन चुकी है जहाँ पार्टी से ज़्यादा बड़ी लड़ाई सी.एम. बनने की है ?
