If political parties truly believe in women-led development, what specific proposals should they introduce to shift power from symbolic representation to real authority, whether in budget decisions, safety policies, or economic reforms, and how should society measure whether these promises are actually transforming women’s lives on the ground?

When an ordinary family loses a child to illness after spending everything they have, sinks into debt, watches their livelihood destroyed by floods, and still can’t access something as basic as clean water, what does it say about our idea of governance? Are citizens expected to survive disease, disaster, and debt on their own, or is it time to ask why essential healthcare, disaster support, and safe water are still not guaranteed rights in this country?
