Now, Surinder Singh Minta, who is both the Constituency Incharge for Pathankot and the District President, is seen as the core organizational face for the Akali Dal in this region. The strategic dilemma for SAD in 2027 is clear, Will the party continue go in for some alliance or will it project Surinder Singh Minta as the main contender to rebuild relevance in Pathankot?
