Himachal Pradesh charges entry tax on out-of-state vehicles, including those from Punjab, to protect roads and tourism hotspots. 

Punjab leaders like Harjot Singh Bains are protesting, but is Himachal actually justified in saying, “If you want to enjoy our mountains, you must pay your share”?

A) Absolutely – Outsiders using local infrastructure should contribute.

B) Overreach – Taxing neighbours creates unnecessary political tension.

C) Mixed – Reasonable for road maintenance, but needs fair implementation.
