Gen Z is more connected online than ever, but many young people are also feeling lonely and say they have fewer close friends. Social media and endless scrolling may be part of the problem, while rising housing costs, job pressure and uncertainty about the future are making young life even harder. So, is Gen Z becoming more connected online but lonelier in real life ?

What started as internet and social-media slang has now entered everyday conversations, workplaces and even popular culture. Is Gen Z simply making language more fun and creative or are these new words creating a communication gap between generations ?
