Davinder Singh Ghubaya became Punjab’s youngest MLA in 2017, riding on a strong wave of support and the political influence of his father, Sher Singh Ghubaya, the current MP from Ferozepur. But 2022 told a different story as he slipped to third place, as AAP took Fazilka and changed the entire power balance.
Rajinder Singh, once Samana’s MLA in 2017, slipped to third place in 2022 while AAP swept the seat and even SAD stayed ahead. And now, with Punjab Congress busy fighting over chairs, selfies, and supremacy instead of strategy. The real question is: Is Rajinder Singh even planning a comeback, or has he also accepted that in this circus, survival itself is an achievement?
