Davinder Singh Ghubaya became Punjab’s youngest MLA in 2017, riding on a strong wave of support and the political influence of his father, Sher Singh Ghubaya, the current MP from Ferozepur. His win made him one of Congress’s youngest and most talked-about faces at the time. But 2022 told a different story as he slipped to third place, as AAP took Fazilka and changed the entire power balance.
