Joginder Pal once dominated Bhoa, defeating the sitting MLA Seema Kumari by a huge margin of 27,496 votes in 2017. But after losing the seat in 2022, and with Congress’s graph steadily sliding across Punjab, his political footing looks far less certain today. With AAP weakened but still ahead in Bhoa, BJP trying to make a comeback, and Congress struggling to regain relevance, the real question is, is Joginder Pal still a serious contender for 2027 or has Bhoa moved on from the leader who once won it with a landslide ?
