While the Government says it is determined to recover Punjab’s rightful dues, even taking the matter to the Centre, questions are also being asked about why previous governments remained silent for so long and whether this move is practical or politically timed. Is this a serious push to reclaim Punjab’s long-pending financial rights, or a delayed issue now being revived for political positioning ?
