Punjab’s latest Budget, presented by Harpal Singh Cheema under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann has finally delivered the long-promised ₹1,000 monthly assistance for women while avoiding any new taxes, a move many see as a major welfare push ahead of the next elections.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has unveiled the Industrial & Business Development Policy 2026, promising that flexible incentives, subsidies and customised packages will turn Punjab into a top investment destination.
