Given that Harjit Singh Grewal lost the 2017 Rajpura election and wasn't even given a BJP ticket in 2022, what is the real possibility of him emerging as a serious candidate in 2027 ? Is he genuinely rebuilding his base or are his recent public appearances just an effort to stay visible while his actual chances remain uncertain ?

Jasbir Singh Garhi, Former Punjab BSP State President, BSP’s candidate from Phagwara in 2022 (when BSP and Akali Dal were allies), and currently Chairman of the Punjab SC Commission, was expelled from BSP in 2023, for speaking against party leaders. In January, 2025, he joined AAP in the presence of CM Bhagwant Mann, praising the party for protecting the oppressed and saying BSP failed Ambedkar’s vision. Now that Garhi is in AAP, will the party give him the Phagwara ticket, possibly leaving Joginder Singh Mann aside or is it still uncertain ?
