The BJP has built a strong network of party workers and voter outreach across India. But as Punjab heads towards the 2027 Assembly elections, the real test is whether its leaders can do more than reach voters. Farmers, young people and traders want their concerns heard and acted upon. The BJP knows how to reach voters through rallies and campaigns. But in Punjab, can it prove that it listens to people’s concerns as well as it seeks their support or is its outreach stronger at election time than in solving public problems ?
