At present, Priyanka Gandhi is the AICC general secretary but does not hold charge of any state or specific organisational responsibility. Yet, with elections approaching, she is expected to campaign widely, manage crises, shape messaging and act as a key political face for the party. As expectations rise even before the polls, the larger question is about role clarity within the Congress leadership.
