The BJP has said it is ready to contest all 117 Assembly seats on its own in 2027. But fighting every seat is one thing; finding strong candidates with local influence, organisation and voter connect is another. After years as the junior partner in an alliance, the BJP now faces the real test of building a candidate network across rural and urban Punjab. What should the party prioritise while choosing its 2027 candidates ?
