ਅਰੁਣਾ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੀਨਾ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ 2002, 2012, 2017 ਅਤੇ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸਫਰ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਲੀਡਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਪਕੜ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਣਗੀਆਂ।
