पंजाब में 1 लाख 14 हज़ार हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में आलू की फ़सल उगाई जाती है जिसका उत्पादन 31 लाख टन के क़रीब है। प्रति हेक्टेयर उत्पादन लगभग 27 हज़ार किलो है, यह सीमा पार और मध्य एशिया के बाज़ार के लिए निर्यात का बहुत बड़ा अवसर है।

Or will leadership ambitions, the Chief Ministerial face, seat-sharing disputes and old rivalries once again ensure that Panthic unity remains a dream rather than a decisive political force ?
