But after decades of repeated splits, new banners and familiar faces, are these breakaway factions truly rebuilding Akali politics, or simply dividing the same political space into smaller pieces ? If every faction claims to represent the true Akali legacy, is the Panthic movement becoming stronger through reform, or weaker through endless fragmentation ?
