ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) was established in 1969 and NASA (National Aerospace Administration) of America was established in 1958. When Mangalyaan was launched , it is ISRO's achievement with 100th part of the cost.

With Revenue Deficit Grants now reduced to zero and Punjab losing the ₹2,000–3,000 Crores annual cushion it once depended on, the timing is uncomfortable for the Bhagwant Mann Government. As salaries, pensions and interest payments keep rising, Punjab is being told to “manage on its own” just when its finances are most stretched. The uncomfortable question is this: Did the Mann Government fail to safeguard Punjab’s fiscal interests at the Centre or was more energy spent on political posturing while a crucial support line quietly disappeared ? And as borrowing pressure grows, will ordinary Punjabis end up paying the price for the gap between loud promises and hard fiscal negotiation ?
रेवेन्यू डेफिसिट ग्रांट अब शून्य कर दी गई है और पंजाब को मिलने वाला सालाना ₹2,000–3,000 करोड़ का सहारा खत्म हो गया है। ऐसे समय में यह भगवंत मान सरकार के लिए असहज स्थिति है। जब वेतन, पेंशन और ब्याज का बोझ लगातार बढ़ रहा है, तब पंजाब से कहा जा रहा है कि वह “खुद संभाले।” अब सवाल साफ है, क्या मान सरकार केंद्र में पंजाब के वित्तीय हितों की ठीक से रक्षा नहीं कर पाई या फिर राजनीतिक बयानबाज़ी में ज़्यादा ऊर्जा लग गई और एक अहम आर्थिक सहारा चुपचाप खत्म हो गया ? और जैसे-जैसे कर्ज़ का दबाव बढ़ेगा, क्या इसकी कीमत आखिरकार आम पंजाबियों को चुकानी पड़ेगी ?
After Nirmala Sitharaman presented a Budget where individuals once again contribute more through income tax than corporations, the contrast stands out. Corporate tax relief continues, indirect taxes keep swelling, and the salaried middle class finds itself carrying a heavier load year after year. Is this a carefully calibrated economic choice or a quiet acknowledgement that individual taxpayers are the easiest to squeeze because they cannot shift profits or bargain for concessions ? And in this framework, is the “honest taxpayer” being empowered or simply relied upon as the most dependable source of revenue ?
