Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh’s entry into the BJP has brought Amritsar North into focus ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. He won the seat by 28,318 votes on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket in 2022, defeating senior leader Anil Joshi.
