Amarinder was once Congress’s most prominent Punjab leader, while Preneet brought years of parliamentary experience and a strong Patiala connect. Had Captain Amarinder Singh and Preneet Kaur remained in Congress, could the 2027 equation have been very different or did BJP gain two heavyweight names without fully using their political capital ?
