The meeting between the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Central Food Minister revealed plans to dispatch 20 lakh tonnes of grain monthly to other states, to clear warehouses by March 2025. Concerns arise about the delay in addressing this issue, as proper planning should have occurred much before the ensuing harvest season.
