For months, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has faced open dissent from within his own party. Now, senior Congress leaders have gone a step further, publicly arguing that Punjab needs a "strong leader" and not a "compromised leader" to lead the party into the 2027 elections. If so many leaders within the Congress itself are questioning the strength and credibility of the current Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President, does Raja Warring still possess the political authority to unite the organisation and convince voters ? Or has the battle shifted from winning Punjab to simply defending his own leadership ?
