Its expansion has created opportunities across manufacturing, packaging, distribution, supply chains and food services, while leaders such as Anoop Bector and Akshay Bector have helped take the business into new products and markets. Vardhman has become a major industrial employer, with over 23,000–30,000 direct employees globally and tens of thousands more livelihoods linked indirectly to its factories, supply chains, logistics and cotton ecosystem. Its strong manufacturing presence in Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur and Malerkotla has also made it an important part of Punjab’s industrial economy. Considering its direct and indirect employment footprint, how would you assess Vardhman’s contribution to job creation ?
