पंजाब कांग्रेस में 2027 विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले नेतृत्व को लेकर अंदरूनी हलचल एक बार फिर तेज़ होती दिखाई दे रही है, क्योंकि चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी और प्रताप सिंह बाजवा दोनों लगातार अपनी-अपनी राजनीतिक पकड़ मजबूत करने में लगे हैं। जहां चन्नी अब भी एक ऐसे पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री की छवि रखते हैं जिनकी जमीनी पकड़ मजबूत मानी जाती है, वहीं बाजवा खुद को भगवंत मान सरकार के खिलाफ कांग्रेस की सबसे आक्रामक आवाज़ के रूप में स्थापित कर रहे हैं। लेकिन बढ़ती चर्चाओं के बावजूद कांग्रेस हाईकमान ने अभी तक किसी भी स्पष्ट मुख्यमंत्री चेहरे को आगे नहीं किया है और अंतिम फैसला पूरी तरह अपने हाथ में रखा हुआ है। ऐसे में क्या पंजाब कांग्रेस समझदारी से अपने सभी विकल्प खुले रख रही है, या फिर मुख्यमंत्री चेहरे को लेकर फैसला टालना आगे चलकर पार्टी के अंदरूनी मुकाबले को और बढ़ा सकता है ?
