How many posts of Market Committee Secretary are vacant in the Punjab Mandi Board, which is the core of the Agriculture in Punjab? How many B.Sc Agriculture youth have got jobs as Secretary - Market Committee, who can act as core of Marketing network?
Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have once again spent more time explaining who is responsible for Punjab's drug problem than explaining why it still exists. From Pakistan to Gujarat, from previous governments to rival parties, the list of accused seems to grow with every speech. The question many voters may be asking is simple after four years in power, are Punjabis still being given a diagnosis, or are they finally getting a cure ? If every road leads to someone else's fault, where does accountability for results begin ? And when leaders keep pointing fingers in every direction, is it a sign of determination, or a sign that they're still searching for answers themselves ?
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has asked AAP MLAs and halqa in-charges to hold three Lok Milnis a day, visit every village and present a report card of the Government's achievements before the next election. But the campaign raises a pointed question if Punjab is already experiencing the transformation the government claims, why does it now require a state-wide effort to remind people about it ? If voters were fully convinced by four years of governance, would they need daily presentations, report cards and repeated explanations ? And as leaders fan out across Punjab with development funds and outreach targets, is this a celebration of achievements, or an acknowledgement that many voters may still need convincing ?
