The 2025 Deloitte Gen Z and Millennial Survey, cited in the report, found that 28% of Gen Z respondents pointed to limited practical experience, while 24% questioned whether college curricula match actual job requirements. At the same time, 57% said they already use generative AI in their day-to-day work. With workplaces changing this quickly, is India’s higher-education system moving fast enough or is Gen Z learning what it actually needs only after leaving college ?
