The portrayal of alcohol, substance use, weapons, and violence in Punjabi music has faced growing public scrutiny, especially when young audiences are involved. During Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour, government authorities and child-rights bodies raised concerns over some of his songs and issued advisories about references to alcohol.
