Kulwant Singh began his political journey in Mohali in 1995, rising to become President of the Municipal Council from 2000 to 2005, and later the first Mayor of Mohali in 2015. He then stepped into parliamentary politics in 2014, and eventually made another shift by winning as an MLA from Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar in 2022 under a new political platform, showing his ability to stay relevant across different phases of politics. But with changing political equations, rising competition, and evolving voter expectations, the real test now lies ahead.
