ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਅਸਹਿਜ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਜੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਹੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਚੋਣ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ ਮਕਸਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਦਾ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਣਸੁਲਝੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮੰਗਣਾ ?
