ਤਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਤੱਕ, ਗਿੱਲ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵੱਧਦੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੋਚਕ ਅਕਸਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਹੱਤਵਾਕਾਂਖੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬੌਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਜੀਠਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਗਿੱਲ ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ 2027 ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ, ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਉਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੁੰਮਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ?
