ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ‘ਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਛਾਪਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ’ਤੇ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜਦਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਅਸਹਿਜ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ’ਤੇ ਦਬਾਅ ? ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਘਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ’ਤੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ, ਤਾਂ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਤਾ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਰਹੇਗੀ ?
