Has any measure been taken to stop and encourage the big industries going to other states in Punjab itself and has objection been raised on the concessions which are being given to the neighbouring states without any demand or need?

The demand puts the Centre in focus, as it must weigh religious sentiments, national security and ties with Pakistan. With Punjab’s Assembly passing a resolution and the State Government urging the Centre to act, what should shape the Union Government’s decision on reopening the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor ? Should religious access take priority, remain tied to India–Pakistan relations or become a shared effort across political parties ?
