Congress leaders are already projecting a 2027 victory in Punjab and a Rahul Gandhi-led Government at the Centre in 2029. But with the party still struggling with factionalism, leadership disputes and internal coordination in Punjab, such confident projections raise a sharp question: Is Congress building a winning organisation, or simply announcing victories before fighting the battles ? What should Congress fix first before making big 2027–29 promises ?
