The Indian government has imported more than 70 lakh tonnes of urea fertilizer this year and an order for more than 18 lakh tonnes has been placed from China. Apart from this, 22 million tonnes of phosphatic and potash fertilizers were imported from China alone. On the other hand, India imports fertilizers from many countries of the world, so in such a situation how Government will take a decision?

ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੂੰਦਾ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਧੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ (2007–2012) ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ (2012–2017), ਪਰ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਚੋਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਕੇ। 2022 ਦੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਉਹ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ। ਇਸਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ 2024 ਦੀ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਹਾਰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਝੂੰਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਗੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਏ, ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ। ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੂੰਦਾ ਪੰਥਕ ਏਕਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਮੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਹਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਦੇ ਹਾਸ਼ੀਏ ‘ਤੇ ਧੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ?

He lost the 2022 Assembly election, was still trusted by the Akali Dal to contest Sangrur Lok Sabha in 2024, and lost again.
