With just 2,038 votes (1.33%) in Sardulgarh, Jagjit Singh Milkha finished at the bottom of the 2022 contest, underscoring how marginal the BJP remains in rural Malwa despite being in power at the Centre. Even in a multi-cornered fight and during a high-visibility election, the party failed to make any meaningful impact on the ground.
