The idea of industrial development in any state can be gauged from new industrial power connections in a state. Punjab, with 23 districts, has around 3,400 new industrial connections.
With 2027 approaching, the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to showcase its welfare schemes and governance record, but the political conversation is also being shaped by unemployment, employee and farmer grievances, Punjab’s rising debt and growing anti-incumbency. If voters had to point to one issue that could turn the mood against the Government, what would it be ?
