ਕੇਰਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਭਗ 10 ਦਿਨ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਕਈ ਦੌਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ, ਤਿੱਖੀ ਲਾਬੀਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਖ਼ਿਰਕਾਰ ਵੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਤੀਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ’ਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਲੱਗੀ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ “ਸਾਂਝੀ ਸਲਾਹ-ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ” ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ, ਉੱਥੇ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਸਪੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ, ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਕਾਬ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਇਕ ਸਥਿਰ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਕੇਰਲ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਡਰਾਮਾ ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਪਸ਼ਟਤਾ, ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾਕੁੰਨ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਸਕੀ ?
