Tikshan Sood has long carried the image of Punjab BJP’s polished and disciplined urban face, a leader who stayed loyal through difficult years when the party struggled badly in the state. But despite years in politics, many people still feel Sood remained more visible inside party circles than in Punjab’s larger public imagination. As BJP now tries to aggressively expand before 2027, the sharper question is whether Tikshan Sood still has the hunger to emerge as a serious mass leader, or whether he has slowly become one more senior face trapped between loyalty, waiting, and missed political timing ?
H.S. Phoolka once looked like the rare Punjab figure who could attack every Government without fearing power, pressure, or political deals. Courtrooms, activism, emotional speeches, and the 1984 justice battle made him appear larger than party politics itself. But after years of targeting powerful systems, his entry into BJP has left even old admirers wondering whether Punjab’s “moral warrior” slowly became just another politician adjusting with Delhi’s power circles. What do you think Punjab now sees in H.S. Phoolka’s political transformation ?
