Partap Singh Bajwa has remained a senior and vocal leader in Punjab Congress and has increasingly portrayed himself as a Chief Ministerial contender. Has Bajwa clearly communicated his CM ambitions to the Congress high command or is he relying on public positioning to make his case ? With the Sidhu–Raja Warring drama continuing to expose internal cracks and Charanjit Singh Channi already projecting himself as the ready-made CM face, the party looks crowded with claimants but thin on clarity. In this crowded field, is Bajwa pushing his claim too softly or will Congress once again drifting toward leadership confusion ?
प्रताप सिंह बाजवा पंजाब कांग्रेस के एक वरिष्ठ और मुखर नेता रहे हैं और हाल के समय में खुद को मुख्यमंत्री पद के दावेदार के तौर पर पेश भी कर रहे हैं। लेकिन असली सवाल अब भी बना हुआ है, क्या बाजवा ने अपनी मुख्यमंत्री बनने की इच्छा कांग्रेस हाईकमान तक साफ़ तौर पर पहुंचाई है या वह सिर्फ सार्वजनिक संकेतों के ज़रिये अपनी दावेदारी मजबूत कर रहे हैं ? सिद्धू–राजा वड़िंग का लगातार चल रहा विवाद पार्टी की अंदरूनी दरारें उजागर कर रहा है, वहीं चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी खुद को पहले से ही मुख्यमंत्री चेहरे के तौर पर पेश कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में दावेदार ज़्यादा हैं, लेकिन स्पष्टता कम। इस भीड़ में क्या बाजवा अपनी दावेदारी बहुत नरमी से आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं या कांग्रेस एक बार फिर नेतृत्व भ्रम की ओर बढ़ रही है ?
