Ravneet Bittu has been allocated the Food Processing ministry, will he be able to bring in any real change? Notably, this ministry was earlier held by Harsimrat Badal.
The Punjab Congress has spent the last few years relentlessly attacking the Aam Aadmi Party over drugs, law and order, unemployment, debt, corruption, and governance. But as 2027 draws closer, an uncomfortable question confronts the party itself: Is exposing the government's failures enough to win Punjab's trust, or does the Congress still need to answer a more fundamental question, Why should Punjabis choose the Congress again ? After all, an opposition can keep pointing fingers at the government, but can it keep pointing at the government forever without pointing towards a credible future ? Has the Punjab Congress become better at opposing the AAP than convincing Punjabis it deserves to replace it ? What should be the Congress' biggest priority before 2027 ?
पंजाब कांग्रेस पिछले कुछ वर्षों से आम आदमी पार्टी पर नशे, कानून-व्यवस्था, बेरोज़गारी, कर्ज़, भ्रष्टाचार और शासन जैसे मुद्दों पर लगातार हमलावर रही है। लेकिन 2027 नज़दीक आते ही अब एक असहज सवाल खुद कांग्रेस के सामने खड़ा है। क्या सिर्फ़ सरकार की कमियाँ गिनाना ही पंजाब का भरोसा जीतने के लिए काफ़ी है, या कांग्रेस को पहले इस सवाल का जवाब देना होगा कि आख़िर पंजाबी उसे दोबारा क्यों चुनें ? विपक्ष लगातार सरकार पर उंगली उठा सकता है, लेकिन क्या वह हमेशा सिर्फ़ उंगली उठाकर चुनाव जीत सकता है, बिना यह बताए कि पंजाब का भविष्य उसके साथ कैसा होगा ? क्या पंजाब कांग्रेस, आम आदमी पार्टी का विरोध करने में जितनी मज़बूत दिखती है, उतनी ही मज़बूती से खुद को उसका विकल्प साबित करने में भी सफल रही है ? 2027 से पहले कांग्रेस की सबसे बड़ी प्राथमिकता क्या होनी चाहिए ?
