Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon, son of Nirmal Singh Kahlon, former Fatehgarh Churian MLA (1997 & 2007) and ex-Speaker from Akali Dal, contested Dera Baba Nanak in 2022 on Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) ticket and lost. He joined BJP in 2024 and contested the same seat again in the bypolls. Despite his family legacy, his personal record is patchy, and he’s yet to prove himself under BJP. So, should BJP test Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon in Fatehgarh Churian ahead of 2027?
