ਬਹਿਬਲ ਕਲਾਂ ਗੋਲੀਕਾਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਸਮਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਜਾਂਚਾਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ, ਨਵੇਂ ਨਾਮ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਓਨਾ ਹੀ ਦੂਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਭਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਦੇਰੀ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ? ਜਦੋਂ ਆਸਥਾ, ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਲਝ ਜਾਣ, ਤਾਂ ਆਖ਼ਿਰਕਾਰ ਕੀ ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਜਾਂ ਸੱਤਾ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ?
