Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, veteran Shiromani Akali Dal leader, two-time MLA (2007–2012 from Qadian, 2017–2022 from Batala), and former 30-year village Sarpanch tried his luck in Fatehgarh Churian in 2022 but lost. Despite making history as the first Akali MLA from Batala, Lodhinangal couldn’t replicate that success against Congress’ stronghold. So, how should we view Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal after 2022?
