Charanjit Singh Channi has already been Chief Minister but his 2022 defeat from both Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur remains a major hurdle for his comeback. If Congress has to put one face at the centre of its 2027 Punjab campaign, who has more to prove - Partap Singh Bajwa, who needs to expand his public appeal or Charanjit Singh Channi, who needs to overcome his 2022 double defeat ?
