The BJP’s decision to prepare for all 117 Assembly seats means a much larger contest for tickets, constituencies and campaign roles than when it was the junior partner in the Akali Dal alliance. As the party expands its organisation and brings together old workers, new entrants and competing local camps, could the pressure of deciding who gets what create infighting inside the BJP before the 2027 election ?
भाजपा की सभी 117 विधानसभा सीटों पर अकेले चुनाव लड़ने की तैयारी का मतलब है कि अब टिकट, सीटों और चुनावी भूमिकाओं को लेकर पहले से कहीं ज्यादा दावेदारी और प्रतिस्पर्धा होगी। अकाली दल के साथ गठबंधन में जूनियर पार्टनर रहने के दौर की तुलना में पार्टी को अब अपने संगठन का विस्तार करते हुए पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं, नए नेताओं और अलग-अलग स्थानीय गुटों को साथ लेकर चलना होगा। किसे क्या मिलेगा, इसी सवाल को लेकर 2027 से पहले भाजपा के भीतर गुटबाजी और खींचतान बढ़ सकती है ?

Should the BJP treat its 13 seat Lok Sabha setback as a warning to rethink its strategy or as a lesson to push even harder for 2027 ?
