Is society ready to promote sports again for collective well-being?
The BJP is pitching Haryana’s ₹2,100 monthly women’s scheme against Punjab’s ₹1,000 promise, turning welfare into a key 2027 election weapon. But if BJP is using bigger cash benefits to win votes, is it really offering a different politics or simply playing the same “freebie game” it attacks others for ? Is BJP’s women’s welfare push really different from freebie politics ?
भाजपा हरियाणा की महिलाओं के लिए ₹2,100 मासिक योजना की तुलना पंजाब में ₹1,000 के वादे से कर रही है और इसे 2027 के चुनाव की अहम राजनीतिक रणनीति बना रही है। लेकिन अगर भाजपा भी बड़े नकद लाभ के ज़रिए वोट हासिल करने की कोशिश कर रही है, तो क्या यह वाकई अलग तरह की राजनीति है या उसी “मुफ़्त की राजनीति” की दौड़ का हिस्सा है, जिसका वह दूसरों पर आरोप लगाती है ? क्या भाजपा की महिला कल्याण की राजनीति वाकई मुफ़्त की राजनीति से अलग है ?
Punjab’s debt is projected to reach ₹4.47 Lakh Crores by March 2027, while ₹1.15 Lakh Crores of the state’s estimated revenue is expected to go towards salaries, pensions, loan interest and subsidies. With only about ₹11,000 Crores left for infrastructure, the Aam Aadmi Party Government faces a tough question: Is its welfare model helping Punjab or pushing the state deeper into debt ? What should the Aam Aadmi Party Government do about Punjab’s growing debt ?
