As Punjab's opposition appears increasingly consumed by its own battles, the Congress trapped in open factionalism and the BJP still striving to establish itself as a credible standalone alternative, the Aam Aadmi Party has largely remained a silent spectator. In politics, the greatest advantage often comes not from defeating your opponents, but from watching them weaken themselves. Is the AAP quietly benefiting from an opposition that seems more determined to settle internal scores than to challenge the Government ? If the Congress continues to fracture and the BJP-Akali equation remains uncertain, could the biggest reason behind the AAP's chances of returning to power in 2027 be the opposition's failure rather than the Government's own performance ?
पंजाब में विपक्ष इस समय अपनी ही लड़ाइयों में उलझा हुआ दिखाई देता है। एक ओर कांग्रेस खुली गुटबाज़ी से जूझ रही है, तो दूसरी ओर भाजपा अभी भी खुद को एक मज़बूत और स्वतंत्र विकल्प के रूप में स्थापित करने की कोशिश कर रही है। इस बीच आम आदमी पार्टी लगभग एक शांत दर्शक बनी हुई है। राजनीति में कई बार सबसे बड़ी जीत विरोधियों को हराकर नहीं, बल्कि उन्हें खुद ही कमज़ोर होते देखने से मिलती है। क्या आम आदमी पार्टी ऐसे विपक्ष का सबसे बड़ा राजनीतिक लाभ उठा रही है, जो सरकार को घेरने से ज़्यादा एक-दूसरे से लड़ने में व्यस्त है ? अगर कांग्रेस की टूट जारी रहती है और भाजपा-अकाली दल की तस्वीर अब भी स्पष्ट नहीं होती, तो क्या 2027 में आम आदमी पार्टी की वापसी की सबसे बड़ी वजह उसकी अपनी उपलब्धियाँ नहीं, बल्कि विपक्ष की विफलता होगी ?
