Sukhbir Singh Badal has promised traders and industrialists a fear-free business environment if the Shiromani Akali Dal returns to power in 2027. He has pledged to end gangster threats and “Inspector Raj”, reintroduce the Rahat scheme, simplify taxes and reduce regulatory hurdles. He has also accused the Aam Aadmi Party Government of driving away investment through alleged extortion and harassment. But with Punjab struggling to attract industry and retain capital, can these promises restore business confidence or does the Shiromani Akali Dal need to answer for why its earlier policies could not create lasting industrial growth ?
सुखबीर सिंह बादल ने वादा किया है कि 2027 में शिरोमणि अकाली दल की सत्ता में वापसी होने पर व्यापारियों और उद्योगपतियों को भयमुक्त माहौल दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने गैंगस्टरों की धमकियों और “इंस्पेक्टर राज” को खत्म करने, राहत योजना फिर से शुरू करने, कर व्यवस्था को सरल बनाने और सरकारी नियमों की बाधाएं कम करने का भरोसा दिया है। उन्होंने आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार पर कथित जबरन वसूली और उत्पीड़न के कारण निवेश को पंजाब से दूर करने का आरोप भी लगाया है। लेकिन जब पंजाब उद्योगों को आकर्षित करने और निवेश बनाए रखने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा है, तो क्या ये वादे कारोबारियों का भरोसा बहाल कर पाएंगे या शिरोमणि अकाली दल को यह भी बताना होगा कि उसके पिछले कार्यकाल की नीतियां स्थायी औद्योगिक विकास क्यों नहीं ला सकीं ?
