ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਨੇ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨੌਰ ਤੋਂ 49,122 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੀਡ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ AAP ਲਹਿਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਨੇਤਾ ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਦੂਮਾਜਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ, ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ, ਧਮਕੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਭੱਜਦਿਆਂ ਇਕ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੀਡ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਗੌੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨਮਾਜਰਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰੀ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ AAP ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ “ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ” ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗੀ ?
