In most Indian families, a daughter’s marriage is still celebrated like her final exam result, as if tying the knot validates all her achievements, dreams, and worth. Parents beam with pride, relatives whisper with relief, and society finally stamps “settled.” But if a girl is independent, happy, and unmarried, why is she still seen as “incomplete”? Have we confused marriage with success, especially for women? Share your thoughts.
Social media has created a world where comparison is constant. Someone is always richer, healthy, happier, and more successful, at least on screen. Every scroll reminds us of what we “lack.” Is ambition today fueled by genuine passion, or by anxiety that we are falling behind everyone else? Share your thoughts.
