But the latest zila parishad and block samiti results tell a different story. The Shiromani Akali Dal has re-established its grip in what was long considered its bastion, winning across key zones, including Khuddian’s own village, while AAP’s ground presence appears to be thinning. So the real question is this: Was the 2022 Lambi result a one-time wave that helped make Khuddian a minister, and is the Akali Dal now firmly positioned to reclaim its stronghold in 2027 ?
2022 में लंबी से भारी जीत दर्ज करने के बाद गुरमीत सिंह खुड्डियां को कैबिनेट मंत्री बनाया गया था। लेकिन ज़िला परिषद और ब्लॉक समिति के ताज़ा नतीजे अब एक अलग तस्वीर दिखा रहे हैं। जिस लंबी को लंबे समय तक शिरोमणि अकाली दल का गढ़ माना जाता रहा, वहां अकाली दल ने फिर से मज़बूत पकड़ बना ली है। अहम ज़ोन, यहां तक कि खुड्डियां के अपने गांव में भी अकाली समर्थित उम्मीदवारों की जीत हुई है, जबकि आम आदमी पार्टी की ज़मीनी मौजूदगी कमजोर पड़ती दिखाई दे रही है। तो असली सवाल यह है, क्या 2022 में लंबी का नतीजा सिर्फ़ एक बार की लहर था, जिसने खुड्डियां को मंत्री बना दिया और क्या अब शिरोमणि अकाली दल 2027 में अपने पारंपरिक गढ़ को दोबारा हासिल करने की मज़बूत स्थिति में आ चुका है ?

This shifting stance leads to a difficult question, is Manpreet Singh Ayali genuinely advocating Panthic unity or does his repeated repositioning reflect political restlessness after rebel experiments failed to produce a credible alternative to the SAD mainstream ?
