With over 4,000 staff across around 1,090 Aam Aadmi Clinics seeking job security, better pay and basic benefits, the Punjab Government faces questions over its healthcare promises. Staff unions have threatened protests and an indefinite service suspension if their demands remain unmet. If the Government promised secure jobs but clinic workers still fear for their future, is the gap between Aam Aadmi Party’s promises and delivery becoming harder to ignore ?
लगभग 1,090 आम आदमी क्लीनिकों में काम करने वाले 4,000 से अधिक कर्मचारी नौकरी की सुरक्षा, बेहतर वेतन और बुनियादी सुविधाओं की मांग कर रहे हैं। मांगें पूरी न होने पर कर्मचारी संगठनों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन और अनिश्चितकालीन सेवा बंद करने की चेतावनी दी है। अगर सरकार ने सुरक्षित रोजगार का वादा किया था लेकिन कर्मचारी आज भी अपने भविष्य को लेकर चिंतित हैं, तो क्या आम आदमी पार्टी के वादों और उनके अमल के बीच का अंतर अब साफ़ दिखाई देने लगा है ?
