Amolak Singh’s victory in Jaitu in 2022 was not just comfortable, it was commanding, 60,242 votes (52.2%), as AAP swept the seat for the second consecutive time. But big mandates also come with bigger expectations. Beyond the wave that powered AAP in 2017 and 2022, the real test now is delivery, visibility and local ownership. As 2027 draws closer, is Amolak Singh emerging as a strong individual face in Jaitu, or does his political strength still rest more on party momentum than personal pull ? And when a party keeps winning, do voters reward continuity or start demanding sharper accountability ?
